These terms are an agreement between you (the "customer", "you") andUnity Space SLU, a company incorporated in Spain with its registered address at Calle Lirica 9, Spain. Steady is a brand of Unity Space SLU. By creating an account, subscribing to a plan, or using the platform you accept these terms. Please read them carefully; they govern the relationship even where the platform itself makes some settings easy to find.
1. The service
Steady is a software-as-a-service platform for running an organization's operations: members and roles, courses and programs, members, donors and donations, grants, cases, volunteers, events, messaging, surveys and billing. Features available depend on the plan an organization subscribes to. We may add, change or retire features from time to time; material changes to the service we tell you about in advance.
2. Accounts and responsibilities
- You must provide accurate information, keep credentials secure, and maintain the email address on the account so we can reach you.
- You are responsible for activity under your account and for the content your organization publishes on the platform.
- An organization has an owner who controls membership, roles and billing. By design, the owner cannot be removed while they are the only owner.
- You agree to keep the contact details of your data subjects (donors, beneficiaries, volunteers) accurate and lawfully collected, and to respond to their rights requests.
3. Acceptable use
You must not, and must not allow others to:
- use the service in violation of law or regulation;
- send unsolicited bulk email or otherwise use the platform to spam people;
- attempt to access another organization's data, probe the service's infrastructure, or circumvent limits or security controls;
- upload malware, or use the service to host unlawful content;
- reverse engineer, resell or white-label the service beyond what an explicit plan allows;
- use the service to build a competing product.
We may suspend an account that appears to breach these rules, notify you promptly, and restore access once the issue is resolved. In cases of serious or repeated breach, we may terminate the account with notice.
4. Content and intellectual property
4.1 What you own
You keep all rights in your content — the data you enter, files you upload and messages you send. You grant us a limited licence to store, process, display and transmit that content solely to provide the service, back it up, and comply with law. The licence ends when the content is deleted or the account is terminated.
4.2 What we own
The Steady software, interface, design system, documentation and trademarks belong to Unity Space SLU or its licensors. Nothing in these terms transfers any of that to you.
5. Plans, billing and payments
- Paid plans renew automatically until cancelled. Prices are shown on the pricing page and confirmed in the billing flow before any charge.
- Payments are processed by our payment processor; we never see or store card numbers.
- Taxes (including VAT where applicable) are added at checkout. Invoices are available through the billing portal.
- If a payment fails, the plan continues in a past-due state for a grace period so the card can be updated; after that the paid functionality is suspended until settled. No data is deleted while an account remains unpaid.
- You may cancel at any time. The paid subscription runs until the end of the current period, after which the organization continues on the free plan (or is closed if it was free).
- We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods except where required by law or where we discontinue a paid feature you rely on, in which case you may cancel for a pro-rata refund.
6. Beta and experimental features
Some features are offered as beta ("Beta Features"). They are provided as-is, may change or disappear without notice, and are not covered by any service guarantee until we declare them generally available.
7. Support and availability
- We work to keep the service available and to schedule maintenance outside working hours where possible, telling you about significant planned downtime in advance.
- Support levels (response times, channels) are described on the pricing page for each plan and in the product.
- We do not provide an uptime guarantee on the free plan.
8. Data and privacy
- Our handling of personal data is described in the privacy policy.
- Where you use the platform to process other people's data, the data processing agreement applies and is incorporated into these terms.
- You can export your data at any time, and delete it yourself; deletion is permanent after a short grace period unless you reactivate.
9. Termination and data after termination
- You may terminate at any time from the billing settings.
- We may terminate for material breach following written notice and a reasonable cure period, or immediately where the breach creates a risk to the service or others.
- On termination you can export your data during a short grace period. After that we delete it from the live system and backups on the normal cycle, in line with the privacy policy.
10. Liability
- The service is provided "as is" and "as available", to the extent permitted by law.
- Our total aggregate liability for all claims in any twelve-month period is limited to the amount you paid for the service in that period, or 100 EUR, whichever is higher.
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of profit, data or goodwill.
- Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any right you have as a consumer under mandatory law.
- We are not responsible for outages caused by your infrastructure, third-party integrations, or events outside our reasonable control.
11. Third-party services
The platform integrates with third-party services (payments, mapping, workflow tools, identity). Those services have their own terms and privacy policies, which apply when you use them. We are not responsible for their behaviour, but we will not share your data with a third-party integration without your organization enabling it.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Spain, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and courts of Spain have jurisdiction for business customers. Consumer customers retain the mandatory protections of the law of their country of residence, and we will resolve disputes amicably first — contact legal@getsteady.cc before proceeding formally.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For material changes we will email account holders and update the date above; continued use after the change takes effect constitutes acceptance. We will never apply a materially worse term retroactively without consent.
